A Song In Tribute To This Historic Moment

… and what it portends for the next two years.

***

Arise, you branded by envy,
You whole world of the entitled and resentful!
Our quisling SWPLs boil,
Ready to lead us into a fight to your death.
We will destroy this anglo-saxon world
Down to the foundations, and then
We will build our new world — Zion!
He who was nothing will become everything!

CHORUS:
This will be the final
and decisive battle.
With the Internationale
the brother will arise.

No self-reliance will grant us deliverance,
No God, no Law, no Reason.
We will win our liberation,
With the One’s very own handouts.
To throw down oppression with a compliant media,
To take back what is ours –
Fire up the furnace and hammer boldly,
while the tax code is still hot!

This will be the final
and decisive battle.
With the Internationale
the brother will arise.

Only we, the claimants of the world-wide
Great army of tax recipients,
Have the right to own the land,
But the productive – never!
And if the great thunder rolls
Over the heirs of the Enlightenment,
For us, victimhood will still
Shine on with its fiery rays.

This will be the final
and decisive battle.
With the Internationale
the designated oppressed will arise.

***

To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism, and patriarchy.

Barack Obama, Dreams From My Father

May the god of biomechanics bless this divided nation, every tribe of us.

ps: healing and unity is for betas. i have just begun to unsheath my sword.

Notwithstanding the damage this man and his Pelosi/Reed minions in Congress can do in the next two years, his election may just be…maybe…the biggest godsend the conservatives have gotten in 30 years. In one fell swoop, the argument that blacks have been using to pin us to the mat for 40 years – this is a racist country and you owe us – has been diminished in stature. It has been weakened as a concept. Running and hiding behind their black skin and their history of victimization every time some white conservative raises a legitimate issue about negative behavior in the black community will never be as effective a weapon again. Now we’ll actually be able to debate arguments on their merits. We’ll be able to credibly attack the bankrupt ideas on the left – viciously – until we win. Talk about a silver lining to a dark cloud! Well my brothas and sistas, welcome to the level playing field of debate. This is what you wanted – I hope you have good helmets.

  21. Chalk this one up to voter ignorance. It’s a powerful tool for the politicians and a sad fact for the state of American education. When you don’t have any facts, you can be easily charmed by eloquence and appearance.

Some people voted for change, whatever that meant. I guess that they are unaware that changes can be for the worse 50% of the time. Sure the economy sucks now, but if could be worse if even more punishing taxes at put on businesses. This change mantra has to be one the most annoying and vapid things to come out in a political campaign, ever. How is returning to 1930’s and 1960’s American-style big state liberalism a new change? It’s been tried before and found wanting.

Some people said they were attracted to Obama’s youth, energy, and charisma. I could not help smirking at this. Liberals, who at every instance seek to tar rightists with the “Adolf Hitler” brush seemed to overlook the fact that their own candidate has about the same qualifications as Adolf Hitler did — a super thin resume, a history of radical beliefs, and a supreme gift for oratory. Just because someone is charismatic is not a good reason to elect them President. It’s sad to think how many people without oratorical skills would be better presidents but wouldn’t come across well on TV and thus, be unelectable.

Blacks voted something like 97% in favor of Obama, I read. Obviously, they were single issue voters and the fact that Obama was half-Black was enough to persuade them. Pathetic. No white candidate with the same thin resume would even get in the door. If just being Ivan Ivanovich as candidate for President of the USA was enough reason for all Russians in American to vote for him, I’d be in favor of stripping Russian-Americans of their right to vote.

What amazes me is how all the screaming and celebrating idiots on TV see Obama as some kind of religious figure, a messiah or saviour. He’s a politician for fuck’s sake. By definition he is: (1) power hungry (2) wants to tell you how to live and (3) a liar. This just adds to my belief (and Roissy’s) that politics is just a substitute for lack of religious belief. Nobody should ever worship at the feet of any politician, ever. Maybe only George Washington would get my nod as being the most unpolitician-like politician ever — he actually refused power, which was unbelievable.

That said, the conservatives brought this on themselves. George Bush and the past regime at the Fed Reserve were completely duplicitous in this. The Fed blew the money supply out of the water and George W. spent more money more quickly that even the best nanny stater could have hoped for, all the while pretending that they were conservative and/or libertarian in their nature and policies. This entire economic crisis and election cycle is being hailed as a referendum on Laissez-Faire capitalism, but how is the USA laissez faire when 40% of Gross National Product is government spending?

Lastly, I agree with Roissy yet again. I’d go for Sowell over McCain any day, so it’s not a matter of who’s black or who’s white. Thomas Sowell is the best editorial/opinion writer out there and is a fine academic economist as well. But hey, he doesn’t come across as well on TV.

    same difference.

    freedom from lies.

If I am going to be assumed to be one of the teaming duped masses I want a chance to wake up.

if you have to ask, then you will stay asleep.

ps: here’s a dirty little secret. despite his 180 degree beliefs to my own, i’m glad obama won. what with his whacked out hippie mother and alcoholic and polygamous but charmingly smart alpha father, his abandonment by both of them, his ivy league trajectory and SWPL citizen of the world lifestyle, his embodiment of the renegade outcast and consequent efforts to fit in, and his deeply imbued racial consciousness, he’s a more intriguing character than that boring suckup crank old fart mccain. obama clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. he will bring a much needed focus to the rifts that are soon to sunder the republic into pieces. and in those rifts, truth will peek out, like shards of light, and if we are lucky, a true golden age will emerge. if we are unlucky… well, this time, we won’t be able to bribe our way out of the coming blood parade.

but despite my affinity for obama and what his ascendence to power represents, let us be clear about one thing — the man is a marxist in his heart, through and through. he holds most dear an utterly discredited philosophy, a false icon, and this will play out in a personal drama the likes of which this country has never seen before.

the kingdom of roissy will soon stretch beyond the shores of this blog. forces are gathering. a wolf howls. the time is nigh…

so, if you want to split the world into white and black, you’re welcome to it. you’re going to lose that argument. if, however, you want to check a calendar and see that it’s 2008, and not 1958, and understand that bad ideas and bad behavior are things correctly applied to the individuals who hold and take part in them, and not to whole groups of people who happen to share a common pigment.

  59. While it is saddening to see the 97% or whatever of the black voting population vote for Obama, I doubt it is any more surprising than South Dakota voting McCain. Blacks have tended to vote Democrat on presidential elections if they do vote. I’m pretty sure if we pulled stats from previous elections they would be very similar. Granted the turnout of voters that voted on race boundaries from the black community was obviously very high, but not unlike the similar demographic in redneck country that stood behind McCain for the same reason.

Choice of where you hang your hat at is a personal one. To bring in the concept of alphaness is nothing but comedic. How alpha one is is local to your environment. Unless we go strictly by Roissy’s definition, I tend to look at alpha-ism as attaining the things most valued in your respective environment. In an environment that cherishes family values, becoming the best at such an undertaking should make you alpha. In Roissy’s DC, a lot of poon makes for an alpha, but such are the dynamics of that ecosystem. Currently, I’m not trying to get domesticated and therefore follow in Roissy’s definition of achieving alphaness. That will not carry me when I have to settle and be a suburbanite alpha or as many will argue, beta provider. If it makes me happy and it is wrong to be beta at that time, then I don’t wanna be right.

I think the error is in assuming that “that which they have, you want, and they won’t give you” is sex. For some of you, it may be sex. Others are frustrated because their self-selected experience has made them highly jaded about their odds of satisfying their ambitions that involve women and a time span longer than two minutes.

  65. Are you questioning the preponderance of violent crime rates among blacks relative to their population percentage or are you nitpicking the notion of “all” as in “not ALL members of a group can be spoken of in a singular fashion”?

Not “ALL” men are taller than women…

Come on TC, don’t be condescending with the whole nitpicking “all” in quotation marks. This is not nitpicking like a liberal about making sure you use “all” instead of “most.” There’s a major difference in analogizing the male versus female height example to the FBI black crime epidemic stats.

A vast majority of men are taller than the average women. On the other hand while blacks commit a DISPROPORTIONATE amount of crimes per capita compared to other races, a vast majority of blacks in the black community are not criminals. They do however have a MUCH HIGHER proportion of criminals within their population than communities of other races. Even if you isolate just the men to create a worst case scenario, 32% of black men will be in the criminal justice systems in their lifetimes versus 17% hispanics versus 3.4% for whites. The FBI stats do not show that a vast majority of blacks are criminal, they show that blacks have a MUCH BIGGER criminal minority within their community than other races do. But it’s STILL a minority of blacks that are criminal.

This is still a damning stat, and is not flattering to blacks in the least, but it in no way undermines what Lance was saying when indicating that most blacks are not criminals. A majority of blacks are not criminals. The sizable minority (32%) that are criminals however make life hellish for everyone though. And they commit crimes at a more frequent rate which makes them even more overrepresented in crime stats. So the FBI stats do not contradict Lance’s claim that most blacks are not criminal. The FBI stats DO show that crime is committed by blacks vastly disproportionate to their population numbers and at a higher rate.

Since most men are taller than women, I have no problem with you using “all” instead of “most.” That would be nitpicking. If only 32% of men were taller than the average women, “all” or even “most” would bug me in that instance too.

Correlation can still be highly predictive without indicating causation. For example sneezing, sniffling and coughing often correlate. In fact, if someone has one or two of those three problems, you can often reliably predict they have a host of other problems. Yet none of these problems causes the other. Sneezing, sniffling and coughing are highly correlative, can be reliably predictive of the existence of other problems, yet no causal relationship exists, they are all symptoms of another cause, usually a virus or an infection.

Race realists are great for bringing some great non-PC information to the forefront of policy discussions, which is sorely needed in this age of liberal media, but I don’t always agree with their conclusions regarding causation.

“While it is saddening to see the 97% or whatever of the black voting population vote for Obama, I doubt it is any more surprising than South Dakota voting McCain. Blacks have tended to vote Democrat on presidential elections if they do vote. I’m pretty sure if we pulled stats from previous elections they would be very similar. Granted the turnout of voters that voted on race boundaries from the black community was obviously very high, but not unlike the similar demographic in redneck country that stood behind McCain for the same reason.”

Yes, I agree. Rednecks that vote merely upon racial lines are no improvement. However, I guess my larger point is this: blacks are seeking intellectual (or even general) respect from the larger American society. No one questions the level of intelligence of European/white people, so rednecks are one mere diverse sliver of the pie that is European-Americans. In other words, everyone can afford to laugh at them and the larger Euro-American population will not be subjected to more negative stereotyping. Blacks have no such margin. To overcome the negative stereotyping, they must in fact do more than would be expected of any normal majority group. The fact that blacks voted so overwhelmingly in favor of Obama makes them look like single-issue lemmings who could do nothing except vote for emotional reasons (albeit a very big one) and not for intellectual ones. Seeing 97% of blacks go to Obama unfortunately only confirms stereotypes many white americans have. Whereas the rest of politically diverse white america can be shielded from being associated by the views of the rednecks, this kind of bloc voting makes the entire black community look like the equivalent of white rednecks. Black racial solidarity in voting for inferior candidates (see Marion Barry in DC [elected even after caught smoking crack on video], David Dinkins in NYC, current mayor in Detroit), embarrasses them as a group in a way it could not do for whites.

“Race realists are great for bringing some great non-PC information to the forefront of policy discussions, which is sorely needed in this age of liberal media, but I don’t always agree with their conclusions regarding causation.”

What I appreciate about the anonymity of the internet is it allows people to say things they’d never say in public.

I think a lot of people are race-realists behind closed doors. I would say that most Republicans/Conservatives are not race-realists, but, in fact, racists.

The sad part about this is that even though Conservatives may be racists, their “tough-love” policies would do far more towards reducing some of the pathologies in the black community regarding crime and illegitimacy.

The sad thing is, despite the so called liberal “love” for black people, if you wanted to destroy black people as a whole, I can’t think of any better way to do it than what the Great Society liberals of the Johnson era did. Black families managed to stay together despite slavery, segregation, discrimination, and all other sorts of harsh things the racists did. However, the compassion and “love” of the nanny state vis-a-vis welfare made the black male irrelevant in child-raising/fatherhood and likely caused the resultant explosion in illegitimacy which led to massive amounts of crime among young black males lacking father figures.

A missing and harsh point (and of course, very controversial) of the abortion debate that is too nuclear hot for either side to touch it is that it is believed that Roe v. Wade is actually responsible for the drop in crime that occurred in the late 80s. Since Roe started in the early 70s and it is well known that adolescent males commit a disproportionate amount of crime, this means a whole generation of potential criminals was aborted, thus dropping the crime rate. This theory is out there in the economics literature somewhere. I’m too lazy to try to find a link right now.

The majority of modern conservatives are probably racists, but I’d bet that their policy prescriptions would have far better social results.

If Adolf Hitler told a Jewish person “2+2=4” it wouldn’t make it any less true.

I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with you, but I do not buy into this. And I’ll tell you why. Even on anonymous websites, the race-based vitriol I got from conservatives when I was liberal and wanted to argue with them was NOTHING, nowhere NEAR as bad as how openly racist liberals have been to me, both anonymously and in public, when I became a black conservative that would debate them. Just because someone doesn’t give you special treatment doesn’t mean they hate you. Just because someone gives you special treatment doesn’t mean they sincerely respect you. Anyone can be tolerant to you when you agree with them, and 90% of blacks vote Democrat, hence the illusion that Dems are more tolerant. The real test of how much people tolerate you when you DISagree with them, and Dems fail this test far more in my experience than Republicans when dealing with blacks.

My problem with race realists is that too many of them are just the flipside of self-hating whites. Much like a self-hating white liberal can’t admit that white people did anything good, which I hate, race realists have trouble admitting that many of the current troubles straight white males face is their own doing. Perfect example is Steve Sailer. Really smart guy, but has many blind spots in his arguments. For example he did that post pointing out how blacks and hispanics took out a disproportionate amount of subprime loans and defaulted on them like crazy. Yet he downplays the fact that someone had to give them these loans, and who was it that made it so easy? The hypereducated whites he is always pointing out have such high IQs. All that high IQ couldn’t tell them that gee, maybe people who have a history of making little money and never paying back debt probably shouldn’t be given hundreds of thousands of dollars more debt per person, en masse? I’d argue that the high-IQ person in the transaction is more blameworthy because he’s supposed to know better.

Also, regarding whether abortion curtailed black crime, you should google a debate between the author of Freakonomics who first posited the theory and Steve Sailer, where Sailer did a pretty good job of debunking it. It was at Slate I believe.

fabs, you’re lazy, you’re stupid, and you’re quite ignorant. and the funny thing is that these are probably the same stereotypes you’ve got for blacks in that tiny little brain of yours.”

    Hey Lance –

Unfortunately, we have to continue to discuss racial divisions because the attitudes of white and black people still differ based on their race/culture. My original post pointed out that the victory of Obama allows us to have a public discourse about things that were heretofore not discussable in public. That’s a good thing, Lance. We can now attack the weak points of liberalism without worrying that we’re being “racist”. But you chose not to read my post that way. If you’re not a liberal, as you suggest, your response sure sounds like a liberal’s, because you immediately saw my statement as an attack on black people for being black, when it was no such thing. Most of the leftist shit I abhor has its genesis with other white people???? That’s a nice overgeneralization from someone who just accused me of overgeneralizing. And yet another false assertion that black people are eternal victims. The fact is, lots of black people have accepted the “liberal shit”, Lance. And lots of white people have refrained from voicing their full opinions about their dislike of the “liberal shit” because they don’t want to seem like racists. McCain did run a shitty campaign, and it was partly because he felt guilty attacking the ideas of a black man. If the same ideas had been expressed by a white opponent, I’m sure McCain would’ve been tougher on him. He probably still wouldn’t have won, I concede. Now that Barack Obama has been elected president, we’ve crossed a significant threshold. If a black person attacks me with liberal ideas, I’m going to attack those ideas as energetically as if a white person attacked me. I encourage anybody who believes in conservative ideals to do the same. The playing field is closer to being level than it’s ever been, and I’m going to act like it is. Does that explanation make my point clearer, Lance?

We must also convince people that while things happen, children deserve to be brought up a home with two parents who love them and are committed to giving them a good start in life. Emphasize the costs of raising children and the time and selflessness it involves to make people understand that your life will never truly be the same. Remove condom discontinue birth control and proceed with extreme caution.

Furthermore if you screw up your children, as adults, they will pick the worse possible nursing home for you to spend your last days.

Slavery was a feature of African life and before Columbus, American Indian Life. As was human sacrifice, rape, murder and general brutish, nasty, tribal life. The Aztecs killed in one week, 40,000 people for their sacrifices. It’s why the rival tribes aided Cortez, knowing they would be enslaved. At least the hated Aztecs would be dead.

Cortez, as brutal as he was, was far more gentler and kinder than the Aztecs. If you look for villains among peoples, you will find far worse in the New World, in Africa, and Asia. The West was the only place for the average man to form a family, of his own, largely free from fear of the big man killing him and taking his sons as slaves, his wives and daughters as sex slaves.

Moreover, it was WHITES who ended Slavery, and fought to end Jim Crow. Schwerner and Goodman? Ring any bells? How about Wilberforce? Slavery was still extant in Saudi Arabia and LEGAL as late as 1975.

Obama’s problem is that he is a racist, who hates Whites and wrote that he hated them, in his book, married a resentful, angry, incompetent Black Affirmative Action woman, chose an angry Black Nationalist and Separatist Church and preacher, likely out of the anger at being abandoned by his loony White mom at age 9, so she could write her thesis about Peasant Blacksmithing in Indonesia.

If Obama was merely the usual prop for the hip-cool crowd to worship that would be one thing. What’s bad is that he wants to raise electricity rates through the roof (“skyrocket” was his word) and close down coal production and disarm unilaterally and play footsie with Muslims. This will be a different nation when we pick over the nuked remains of NYC and some other place. We needed a Putin, a brute to frighten the other bad men, and we got the leader of the Frickin Children’s Crusade who promises like that fiasco to change the world by “love” and rainbows and what Spike Lee (referring to “the Green Mile” and “Bagger Vance”) called “the Magical Negro” effect.

What’s pathetic is that Obama was not taken as he was — a man and a guy who could not lead a team of toilet scrubbers, instead he was dubbed a Shaman and Savior by clueless hipsters who make nothing and do nothing.

Well, and single women. They are indeed ground zero of PC stupidity. Not surprising, they are always in a quest to impress their girlfriends with their social status. Their girlfriends are after all their support system.

America IS an Anglo-Celtic-African mixture. That is who we are, and we can no more not be partly Black than not be American. The tragedy is that this clown show Obama will make Whites, because Obama’s entire career is proving he’s “Black enough” by indulging and promoting anti-White racism, simply unable to vote or trust solid Black pols like Steele or Lynn Swann. Separatism just ends like Dinkins — a dead end.

Reparations? Affirmative Action (with Obama proof positive it’s no longer needed)? Welfare and spending and health care for Hispanics and Blacks first? Open Borders and Amnesty in a depression? Please. Welfare states during bad times HAVE to be oriented towards the majority population or they get rejected. Obama — doesn’t have the stones or experience to turn down minority pandering in sustained hard times.

Besides he hates me for my White Skin, I read his book where he said so. So the hell with him, that racist bastich.

T and T Chopra are both correct. According to the WSJ, 60% of Blacks are suburban. They are middle class and resemble suburban Whites in criminal behavior. However, 40% of Blacks are urban, and they come from the single-mother hell that creates massive criminal behavior. The “good news” is that the White rate of single motherhood is rising so we will copy the dysfunctional behaviors of Blacks in short order — look at Britain’s White underclass, from respectful strivers to Yobs indistinguishable from Gangstas in a few generations.

If Blacks were wiser they’d switch between Parties frequently to maximize concessions. Being in the tank gets you nothing. Sadly a brilliant man like Steele will go nowhere, shackled by Dem-pandering.

I’ve been reading Steve for years, and I emailed him asking what he expected blacks as a group to do with the acknowledging of their low average IQ. He seemed to think talking about it publicly wouldn’t be a big deal because everyone knows it privately. I thought this was a bizarre stance and although I’ve over the years been electrified by the courage of his statements, I now think he is a socially inept nerd who never really GOT why keeping mum about such things was so appealing. Then, when it sunk in how he’d become a total pariah he became depressed and started over-excoriating and dwelling on the faults of NAM and less so at the PC gatekeepers who really deserved his wrath. Also, I fear that the company he’s been forced to keep since he became too hot for almost anyone to openly touch may have somewhat influenced him e.g. those neo-Nazis who comment on his blog. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sailer and I understand the world far better for his writings, and that’s why it disapoints me to see his logical clarity diminished.

Regarding racial realists I’ve been following these issues online for years and while most of what I’ve read has been substantive I’ve long noticed an undertone of bitterness in the almost exclusively male commentary. Reading between the lines it was obvious to me that many of these white and Asian geeks were failures with women who were envious and resentful towards cool black guys. Now I’m a fan of geeks of all colors and creeds and I think that since race realism goes so squarely against America’s reigning values that people rarely find themselves in that camp unless bad experiences with blacks have made them somewhat resentful. And it’s always blacks, it seems, no white race realist becomes attached to it for the demonstrated superiority of Asians. To be fair, I’ll admit that when I first got into race realism I remembered being bullied by black kids in school. Even so I resisted the genetic IQ explanation for a long, long time. But these days I accept it as overwhelmingly likely and I’ve made enough black friends to get over my baggage and not need Obama to be my cool black friend. I might want to be MORE than friends if Michelle couldn’t squash me like a bug, but such is life.

Agreed but there will always be trouble in life. I don’t think we will ever live in utopia. Perfect example is Steve Sailer. Really smart guy, but has many blind spots in his arguments. What people are forgetting is the fact that some people made a lot of money selling pushing subprime loans to people who couldn’t afford them and to people looking to build a McMansion.

You know I had no idea that sub prime loans were given to people who had credit scores below 600. I am sure that a score 550 or below means you have no credit and/or never or rarely pay your bills on time. Why would someone with such a low credit score be given a loan for a 100k or more? I would be hesitant to give 550CS or below a 5k loan for a used car much less 100k for a house. I must place some blame with homebuyers for not reading and researching before buying a home. For the average person, buying a home will be their biggest investment(?). The question becomes why wouldn’t they fully research all that buying a home entails and costs. Linking low IQ to not doing research is to simple.
I think I mentioned once before my personal story of realtor/friend trying to convince me to buy a home when I was 18. The moment he mentioned that I didn’t need a down payment, I knew something was wrong. Everything that I’ve read about home buying has mentioned the importance of a 10-20 downpayment.

Also, regarding whether abortion curtailed black crime, you should google a debate between the author of Freakonomics who first posited the theory and Steve Sailer, where Sailer did a pretty good job of debunking it. It was at Slate I believe.

i go to graduate school in a program that is overwhelmingly composed of upper-middle class white kids who spent last night screaming their hearts out for obama. there’s a lot of reasons for why that’s the case, but one of the most important ones is that bush and rove and cheney spent the last eight years sullying the repubican brand and because conservatism has come to be tied to the same racism and ignorance that you’ve been spouting here. guess what? americans didn’t care that obama once had lunch with bill ayers. he won because he offered a message that was fundamentally american: hope in the future. now personally, i worry that it’s all bullshit and empty platitudes and that we’re in for the next version of the new deal or great society, but this is a democracy and he ran the better campaign.

fabs wants to have his cake and eat it too. he wants to make these blanket claims that black people blame all their problems on racism and fail to take responsibility; and then claim that mccain lost because, as a white man, he couldn’t run a proper campaign against a black candidate. see the contradiction in your agument? you probably don’t. you probably lack the adequate logical skills to recognize a faulty argument. i guess you fall a couple of standard deviations below the mean on that superior white intelligence distribution. i guess even the superior white race has it’s outliers.

you guys so resemble the angry, illogical, resentful leftists that you criticize. one day, a coherent version of conservatism will reappear; one based on limited government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility. if you guys want to help that day come, you’d be wise just to shut the fuck up and stop making the rest of us look so bad.

I noticed that blog postings about Asians were usually responded to by Asians and white men with Asian wives and the information exchanged was unemotional and neutral. You’d think whites would denounce findings of Asians having higher average IQs than whites, but most are sanguine about that. A posting about blacks brought all sorts of anecdotes about misbehaving students in school, loud behavior in supermarkets, complaints about expensive prices in white urban neighborhoods. Scientifically solid though it is, it often attracts people who are hostile to blacks, though I wouldn’t go so far as to call such people racists. To me a racist is someone who really hates people of other races, as opposed to simply disliking certain behaviors or misunderstanding certain cultural differences. Some true racists grab onto race realism to bolster their racism, but many race realists who’ve been badgered through PC run amok into avoiding realism regarding crime and illegitimacy rates find a place among other race realists to express their ambivalence about many lower-class blacks.

  131. You’d think whites would denounce findings of Asians having higher average IQs than whites, but most are sanguine about that.

    Two reasons.

First, picture 12 guys in a room. One guys is known to have a monster, horse-sized cock. It is revealed you came in second. Given how above average the top guy is, is it really going to bother you to have it revealed publicly that you are in 2nd place? You still have bragging right over the other 9 guys. And if the top guy is widely considered more socially inept than you, then you really don’t mind if he’s known to have a bigger cock.

Second, most of them never felt socially emasculated by or uncool in comparison to Asians growing up. And in their careers being politically incorrect about Asians or losing out to Asians because of affirmative action rarely happens. So a lot less grudges. If anything, I see more grudges in reverse from Asian guys mad at white men for socially emasculating THEM by “stealing” their women.

  132. “If anything, I see more grudges in reverse from Asian guys mad at white men for socially emasculating THEM by “stealing” their women.”

I’ve noticed this too. It is known that although women usually have a strong preference for men of their race, men don’t care. I see a non-universal but common dichotimy: women who prefer not to date interracially but are non-judgemental about it for others, and men who like interracial dating for themselves but can’t stand when women of “their group” do so. Obviously many black and white women resent men of their race dating out, but I think women as a whole are more laid back about this. I suppose it makes sense as men are subconsciously (sometime consciously) trying to build a harem and see women of their group as theirs by default. If a cute Asian girl has an Asian boyfriend an Asian dude thinks in the back of his mind that if her bf were out of the picture he might have a shot with her because she likes guys *like* him. If she has a white boyfriend he sees that as evidence that he’ll never have a shot with her.

Rational people are just plain repulsed by this. A Sowell or Colin Powell would never illicit such a negative attitude in so many people.

Obama will be a disaster. That’s plain. Look how he intends to party on when people all over the country are turning to him for help. I guess they haven’t noticed how he treats his relatives.

Look how he intends to raise the cost of energy.

  138. Sorry, but proposing to raise the top marginal tax rate a few percentage points – to a level much, much lower than that imposed by Republican presidents – is not Marxism or socialism. Any suggestion otherwise either renders the term “socialism” devoid of any meaning or betrays a deep ignorance. Or both.

Socialism is generally considered to entail public ownership of the means of production. The closest we have come to that in recent years is the bail-out – approved by Republicans and enacted by a Republican president and his Republican Secretary of the Treasury – in which the public has become part owner of a growing number of financial institutions. But this is hardly socialism, and Obama is no more a socialist than Bush and McCain.

From Adam Smith on, economists have recognized that purely free markets operate inefficiently, and that some intervention in and regulation of markets is necessary at the micro-level to ensure efficiency and prosperity at the macro-level. This is why things like, say, the purchase of the means of production or redistributive taxation do not socialism make. To think otherwise, as mentioned above, betrays a fundamental ignorance.

Besides, it’s in pretty much every single person’s interest to redistribute wealth. Setting aside the issue of things like roads and defense, redistribution generates additional wealth for all involved. Highly redistributive measures like additional spending on food stamps, for example, are much more efficient stimulators of the economy during a recession than are mildly redistributive measures like refundable tax cuts and stimulus checks.

Some mild level of redistribution is also pretty good at maintaining a societal concensus that capitalism is good; the wealthiest, who benefit the most from everyone else’s labor and cooperation, sacrifice a small amount of their wealth to ensure the survival of that consensus, which guarantees them far more wealth in the long term than would no redistribution. One does not need to be a Marxist to seek redistribution; such capitalists as John McCain and George Bush, etc etc etc, have sought not just redistribution, but progressive redistribution, in part because they recognize this need.

No one wants to be dumber than George Bush, do they?

I am not saying that women are never competitive and possessive toward “their” men. However are Finnish women who are happily married upset about this? More specifically, if they’re upset are they upset in general or for the sake of female friends and relatives? Many men, even when happily married, dislike seeing a woman in “their” group with an outsider and disagree with it in general principle than on a personal basis because their women belong to them. Happily married women don’t suffer a loss of self-esteem if a strange man marries a foreigner unless they are particularly neurotic.

  140. Are there a lot of Russian women over in Finland looking for Finnish men?

It seems to be quieting down, but in the 1990s there were years when the majority of eastern immigrants were female. Finland’s gender ratio is notably skewed in comparison to Scandinavian countries.

However are Finnish women who are happily married upset about this?

Marriages can be broken. I know a few that did, the same story: a young ex-USSR girl who’d be completely out of the husband’s league if she were Western (we’re talking guys who are successful but not high in raw sex appeal). Women who aren’t interested in starting families yet do not worry about that competition.

But I conced that you’re right, women get upset about it mostly when they feel personally threatened, men want to control their women anyway. That’s not a self-esteem issue, really. It’s just the way we are. When you score a foreign chick, you also score one for the team, when a foreigner scores, well, that’s just not right, unless he’s really cool.

And if Chewbacca lives on Endor, then it must not be true that I actually disputed what you’re imputing to me. Reading is fundamental.

Your perception of a smear is probably related to the notion that people here are frustrated in any way at all (which indicates a need or expectation not met, which is oh-so-patheticyuckybeta and a karate man such as yourself would never permit himself or his cohorts to be accused of it), but the frustration here is palpable, whether you like the word or not. The place is steeped in it. You’re steeped in it.

Why would “frustrated” be such a threatening word? Because frustration is antithetical to satisfaction, and chronic frustration is antithetical to confidence. And satisfaction and confidence are two of the aspects of your persona that we (including you) are not allowed to ever doubt.

Yet frustration is no more a weakness than any other emotion – it’s merely an indicator that something somewhere needs filling, which will be the case as long as we’re alive; it’s your response to it, not the indicator, that says anything about your character. If there’s any judgement or “smear” in my observation, it is contained in the phrase “self-selected” and the underlying notion that the predicament of the chronically frustrated people is largely a result of their own choices, and not of some sort of setup that doomed them to failure. For every item on the gripe list, and every item not on the gripe list, there are large segments of the population who have succeeded in attaining that goal, large segments who have tried to attain it and failed, and many who are paralyzed by a lack of confidence and haven’t even tried. What do the successful ones know, that the other two don’t? Why aren’t you confident that you, too, can succeed?

Are you looking to be guaranteed success in all your enterprises, you Marxist? If not, what kind of odds would convince you that it’s worth a shot? Two in ten? Five in ten? Eight in ten? Same as the odds of successfully navigating an asteroid belt? (Han Solo said what?) Same as the odds of returning alive after setting out to circumnavigate the Earth? Same as seeking – and finding – your fortune in the American Wild West? Same as being able to reach the Moon – and return?

And if you’ve decided that you don’t give a damn, that it doesn’t have any value for you, why the anger? Why not leave the griping to those for whom it does hold value? Aren’t you too busy getting yours to gripe about others not getting theirs, anyway? More to the point: even granting that you may be the biggest philanthropist and not merely a sham and a hypocrite who’s merely looking for external reinforcement of his shaky self-image, what qualifies you to comment on marriage and long-term relationships any more than you would (and did) consider Elizabeth qualified to discuss the finer points of fucky-fucky?

    Rhetorical questions, all.

  148. Hello saidMy mother gave me very little advice on men but she always told me that if a man cheats on me I should let the other woman have him
Ah, your mom is a great woman.

WW giving hell to AW for taking those Mr. Big types who live on the Upper East Side. One woman goes so far to say that there won’t be any white men around for white women. I think what she meant was, there won’t be any wealthy Mr. Big type white men around for white women.
