Trump is like a sexual dimorphism tsunami. He passes through, and leaves a cleansed world of glowing, feminine women and testosterone-boosted men in his wake.

Pantifa maxipads have no chance against this rising army of phyzzlords.

It’s better lift light weights for many reps to build those long and lean muscles that are in vogue in magazines like Men’s Health. Doing a workout with heavy weights and low reps will build those unsightly bulky muscles that are too toxically masculine.

    • Pic is taken at Rogue Crossfit. I don’t think Crossfit is as bad as people make it out to be since it’s hard as hell and will definitely whip you into shape.

There’s men like Steve Cook that enjoy it and says there’s a lot of hate on Crossfit, but not everybody likes bodybuilding either, so it depends on who you ask. Different strokes, different folks.

    • Those wide plates are designed to give the impression that they are double 45’s, so 90lbs each, at a glance. The standard looking 45 is likely a 25 , or 35 lb plate. So someone who isn’t familiar with fake lifting, which is what CF is, thinks Wow man that dude is reping 455, but reality is it’s just around 275, possibly less due to the extreme ranges that fake plates can be manufactured to. Still good for a guy his age.

Crossfit is an outstanding sport, for orthopedic surgeons. By all means, keep using your shitty form to make people like me more money. And kettle balls were replaced a century ago with dumbbells for a reason, but keep swinging away as if you’re building your shoulders up, and are too stupid to realize its the momentum bringing the ball up to shoulder height, not your muscles.

I was traveling and utilized a gym that catered to CrossFitters, that’s how I learned about their fake plates. You grab what look likes a 45, and then see it’s only 25, grey AF.

[CH: momentum lifting is such a cheesy newb move.]

What in god’s name are you talking about? Those are bog-standard bumper plates. I’m sorry you had a bad experience with CrossFit – never tried it myself – but kettleBELL (not “kettle ball”) swings are a posterior-chain power exercise, not a shoulder exercise. ALL oly and power-focused lifts rely on momentum, you can’t C&J or snatch or even box jump with strength alone. Different muscle fibers, different energy system.

Bodybuilding, powerlifting and oly are all different sports (well, if you call bodybuilding a “sport”). It is true that CrossFit has a track record of causing a lot of injuries largely due to retarded exercises like kipping and rebound box jumps, but other than the basic theme of “CrossFit tends to be dangerous”, you are talking out of your ass here. None of the gyms have fake plates, that shit is mainly ordered online by instawhore models trying to branch out as youtube fitness hacks.

Literally nobody is saying that those plates are 90 lb plates. Everybody who has commented on that photo, including on the twatter, has said 245 or 225, depending on whether or not they notice the 10s on the end.

      • Do you know what Bumper Plates are? They’re meant to be dropped from over someone’s head and then dropped again and again. A standard steel plate couldn’t handle that abuse.

      • Bumper plates serve only one thing, your ego. There is never a reason to be slamming & dropping weights when using proper form. It is the tell tale sign of a newb in the gym, or the goofy CrossFitters begging for attention, look at me, look at me. You should pray to St. Zane & St. LeBrada for your ‘Bumper’ plate blasphemy.

I’ve witnessed every trend & fad that’s come through the gym in that time, and there were none more retarded than CrossFit. A bunch of preening clowns chimping around like nogs to draw attention to themselves, and resurrecting old obsolete equipment & movements that were replaced by more efficient techniques & technology long ago.

I still have a book from Arnold (yeah he’s gone gay on us lately) that I bought in the 80’s on lifting. If you perform the lifts in its pages, you will develop that classic, evergreen physique that is far superior to what many dudes seem to aspire to in the gym today. And come on man, you’d have to be better than Clarence Darrow to defend the kipping pull-up.

I’m talking about: D1 S&C programs for revenue sports (and wrestling), professional sports leagues — NFL, NHL, NBA etc.; professional combat sports, and elite combat and LE units.

Walk into their gyms. Look at the equipment and watch what they do. I guarantee that you will find the use of Olympic movements like the hang and power clean, and the use of bumper plates. I’ll also guarantee that you’ll find kettle bells and I guarantee that no one will tell you that swings are intended as a shoulder work out.

During the campaign Trump was being attacked by his own party even through the convention. Sessions was one of the very few sitting Senators who were willing to support Trump. Recall Manafort was brought in for the precise reason of getting convention delegates on board with nominating Trump.

Shit is not like the movies…

Making Sessions AG was quid pro quo for his support. Sessions dream was to be AG. Trump thought Sessions was a believer and was shocked at his recusing himself on Day 10…

Exactly. CrossFit has some dumb exercises, but mostly it’s risky because olympic lifting is risky. You can’t practice the exercises slowly in order to perfect your form, and form breakdown or just poor form is very likely to cause an injury rather than a mere failed rep.

Bodybuilding is way safer, but it’s kind of pathetic how some builders can’t run or throw a punch. When you lift, you’re normally focused on one of three things: size, strength, or power. Of these, working out for size is probably the least masculine; it means you care more about how you look than how much you can lift or how hard you can throw or punch. Which sex is known for favoring aesthetics and reputation over skill and achievement?

      • CrossFit deserves all the hate it gets. It injures people, it offers false gains, its a gimmick-filled mess. Mark Rippetoe, the legendary strength training coach who did CrossFit for two years, concluded it was worthless beyond the first six months–the beginning phase—which, as Rippetoe always points out, any exercise/strength program will work at first for most people because most people begin it from a point of not working working out; therefore, any stress, even Crossfit, will create benefit at first. But after that…Crossfit is a giant gimmicky failure.
