Do U.S. Diplomats Read This Blog?

Or do they coincidentally agree with the worldview espoused here at the Chateau?

Over two years ago, a post at this blog was written which compared the alphaness of George Bush and Vlad Putin. The coveted Alpha Male Smirk trophy went to Putin.

Now news comes from the infamous WikiLeaks documents that U.S. diplomats have tagged Putin with the alpha male designation.

US diplomats refer to Russian PresidentDmitry Medvedev as a hesitant leader and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as an “alpha male,” Kommersant reported on Monday citing documents released by WikiLeaks. […]

“The Americans call the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev pale and hesitant, and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin an alpha male,” the newspaper wrote.

Do we here at the Chateau have our fingers on the pulse of high stakes diplomacy, or does the elite have its fingers on the pulse of the Chateau? Either way, it’s good to see the ruling class belie their paeans to nuance in favor of embracing the dispiriting truths of reductionism behind closed doors.

So what does Putin think of all this hubbub?

Putin’s spokesman meanwhile told the daily that it was premature to take the reported character portraits too seriously.

“We have to wait and see what level of diplomats made these comments, and in what documents they appear,” spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the daily.

He likes it.

The alpha male/beta male dichotomy is triumphant across the world, from low stations to high, for good or ill. The lamentations of the equivocating hairsplitters and the rearguard “greater purpose” spiritualists are music to the ears.

If this blog were an apple it would be a granny smith — tart but refreshing.

As candidate, then-vice president Al Gore hired chic feminist writer Naomi Wolf as his image consultant. She analyzed Al Gore being perceived as “beta male” to then-president Bill Clinton’s “alpha male.”

Gore became someting of a laughingstock for this, including Wolf’s advice that he work on looking more alpha by wearing earth tones.

  20. Berlusconi WikiLeaks stories and his response triumphs Putin’s

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101129/ap_on_re_us/wikileaks_berlusconi
ROME – Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi insisted Monday he only throws elegant, dignified soirees at his villas and not wild parties as reportedly described by a Rome-based U.S. diplomat in a cable contained in the Wikileaks trove.

Berlusconi said he didn’t care to read what such diplomats had to report, saying “I don’t look at what third-rate or fourth-rate officials say.”

Berlusconi has been accused of entertaining escorts and underage girls at his villas — allegations that have fueled a political crisis that has brought the government to a no-confidence vote in two weeks.

According to the cable, reported by The Guardian newspaper, Berlusconi’s “frequent late nights and penchant for partying hard mean he does not get sufficient rest.”

On Monday, Berlusconi shrugged off the commentary with a laugh.

“I unfortunately have never in my life been to a wild party,” he said. “Maybe they’re interesting. I’ve never been.”

He said once a month he hosts dinner parties at his homes because so many people want to see him. “At these dinners, everything that occurs is proper, elegant and dignified.” Otherwise, guests wouldn’t be allowed to take pictures, he added.

Several beautiful young women have come forward over the past year detailing the dinner parties they attended at Berlusconi’s villas in Rome, Milan and Sardinia and the gifts the premier allegedly gave them.

The most recent, Nadia Macri, a 28-year-old self-described escort, has said Berlusconi paid her ?10,000 ($13,000) — delivered in an envelope — for sexual favors after she was introduced to the premier by a television executive.

Berlusconi’s lawyer, Niccolo Ghedini has said there was no basis of truth in Macri’s claims and said they had been disproved.
22. I’ve assumed this blog is being read by males in the US and Russian governments (I know many support men’s rights because they follow me on Twitter and some even send email saying they can’t reveal their identities but support the MRA cause).

This is why its important, not just to post about PUA moves, but to post/comment on all manner of men’s rights including about child support being stealth alimony + the absurd feminist attack on US males dating Russian women (VAWA + IMBRA laws) +, yes, the encroaching criminalization of men who solicit/pay for sex from young women (first Sweden, soon Israel with the help of CNN and Fox News). One can argue that its “beta” or “value neutral” to pay for sexual activity, but one can’t argue that men (as opposed to their female “victims”) need to be criminalized for it.

By the way, because they were somehow clued in, possibly by anti-feminist blogs, alpha males in the Finnish parliament recently stopped a Swedish-feminist inspired law to criminalize johns by defining the term “sex trafficking” officially as something against the will or mental capacity of the woman. Across the water in Estonia, the US Ambassador, a White Knighter, spoke before a feminist group urging them to adopt a law criminalizing American men who might pay an Estonian woman for sexual activity. Alpha males in the Estonian parliament refused to criminalize men and just nominally outlawed prostitution instead. One can’t argue that the parliament members who stopped that law were beta males who wanted to pay for sex themselves.

Regarding Wikileaks, up until today I wanted the owner of that site shot down by the CIA, but one of Obama’s spokeswomen just today announced that Wikileaks’ new release was “aiding and abetting sex traffickers.”

When you translate this from the Liberal-Speak, it means that the secret documents may deal with the efforts by the US government to influence legislation in other countries that would, ideally to the Obama-Bush crowd, get American men arrested overseas for “cheating” in the game/quest for sex with beautiful young women.

So because the Obama Girl occupying the White House West Wing stressed “sex trafficking” in her warning to Wikileaks that they are disobeying American law, I’m now very interested in what the documents will contain and believe that I and every man here has the right to know what the feminist assholes in the US government have been trying to do to curtail our natural law rights in other countries.

This would include secret documents dealing with efforts to get other countries to outlaw “mail order bride” services (which are really nothing more than dating services), which is what the US government succeeded in getting the Philippine government to do.

If Putin was a girly-man in the thrall of western liberals, it would already be illegal for American males to date Russian women. Like the US Embassies now specifically deny visas to attractive young Russian women who say they’d consider dating US men while visiting the US, the Russian embassies would deny visas to American men who implied they might date the local women when they visited.

US feminists want to reconstruct the Berlin Wall. Putin has actually kept that wall from going back up for all intents and purposes.

What you need to look for is the gender and pay grade of the US officials who promote feminism in other countries and find out what feminist organizations are involved in foreign policy.

Berlusconi can follow up ridiculing the particular US officials as beta males for daring to criticize an alpha for partying with beautiful young women (notice that whether Berlusconi has ever paid for anything has no bearing on whether he’s alpha or not – an alpha in the end nails the hottest chicks, period).

Some say they are terrified of it becoming known that they support men’s rights.

    Yes, pathetic.

But maybe we need a tipping point where enough male government officials and politicians realize that its OK to be pro-male.

Regarding Leo DeCaprio, the bar would be set higher for a movie star to be called “alpha” in my book, but you have to compare him with the other movie stars who still don’t know how to get laid -despite- their stardom and cash.

Look at all the married movie stars who are, presumably, not getting laid with other women (not necessarily beta if they’re really into their wives sexually).

Look at the way Mel Gibson screamed at Oksana on the phone saying “I want and need a real woman damn it” after he kept calling when she moved out. The most damaging thing Oksana’s secret tapes reveal is that Mel didn’t seem to know how to get laid in Malibu despite his super-stardom.

Look at Ashton Kutscher if he does NOT have an open marriage with Demi (Ashton is clearly an alpha if he’s been getting it left right up and down with gorgeous young women with the discrete cooperation of Demi).

  43. “The Americans call the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev pale and hesitant, and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin an alpha male,” the newspaper wrote.

Whoa, not so fast, since Dmitry is initiating a second de-Stalinization campaign (first being Khruschev) in ‘Mother Russia’.

Dmitry Medvedev to launch ‘de-Stalinisation’ drive – Telegraph

Stalin’s role in Russia’s history will be addressed in January when Mr Medvedev meets with his new human rights envoy Mikhail Fedotov and rights activists, the Vedomosti business paper said.

The campaign will be based on declassifying all secret Soviet archives and the millions of case files that the secret services had compiled on regular civilians, the report said.

The programme will also include a search for remains from Stalin-era prison camps and the establishment of new monuments to those who fell to the regime, Vedomosti said.

The rights campaigners will also press Medvedev to “give a political and legal assessment of totalitarian crimes,” the newspaper wrote.

Medvedev broke ranks with his predecessor Vladimir Putin in May by slamming the Soviet Union as a totalitarian regime that suppressed human rights.

In a newspaper interview published two days before Russia marked the 65th anniversary of victory in World War II, Mr Medvedev said the crimes of wartime dictator Joseph Stalin could never be forgiven.

“The Soviet Union was a very complicated state and if we speak honestly the regime that was built in the Soviet Union … cannot be called anything other than totalitarian,” Mr Medvedev said at the time.

“Unfortunately, this was a regime where elementary rights and freedoms were suppressed.”

Both Mr Medvedev and Mr Putin, a former foreign intelligence agent, had until then rarely criticised the Soviet system and instead focused on its achievements.

But analysts told Vedomosti that Mr Medvedev was making “de-Stalinization” into a central theme of his stay in the Kremlin.

“This is clearly a Kremlin project … that is aimed at erasing (the country’s) image problems in the West,” Carnegie Moscow Center analyst Nikolai Petrov told the newspaper.

  44. Medvedev is also very assertively taking ownership for Russia’s ethnic and class warfare against the Polish officer corps and other elements of the Polish intelligentsia that was mass-liquidated in the beginning of WW2 (which was invaded from east and west).

Russian parliament admits Stalin ordered Katyn massacre

The Russian parliament has passed a historic resolution, admitting that Josef Stalin personally approved the ‘Katyn massacre’ of 1940 in which up to 22,000 Polish officers were executed.

The vote, which was fiercely contested by Russia’s Communist party, who continue to insist that Stalin was innocent, is the first time the lower house of Russia’s parliament or Duma has made such an admission.

MPs from the ruling United Russia party made no secret of the fact that the aim was to improve Moscow’s relations with Poland which have been poisoned by decades of mutual enmity until very recently.

The vote took place amid reports that President Dmitry Medvedev, who has styled himself as a liberal, will press ahead with a bold de-Stalinisation campaign that will see previously secret Soviet archives opened up and new memorials to the bloody dictator’s victims erected.

The Soviets lied about the Katyn massacre for five decades, claiming that the Nazis and not the Soviet NKVD secret police had perpetrated the atrocity. It was only in 1990 that Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev publicly admitted that the NKVD had done the killing, expressing “profound regret” at what had happened.

Note the sample college male’s post “There isn’t enough beer in the world for me to agree with Glenn Beck’s Holy Roller BS”.

Now, if top Republican decision makers read this blog, among the 3000 people per day that were at least reading here per day six months ago, then they will have to understand that the young male adult vote is jeopardized by bringing religion into any kind of populist Republican message going forward.

SNL wouldn’t have inserted that sample statement of an average college male if it weren’t basically true for young men to think that way about Glenn Beck pandering to the religious right instead of just the small government types.

Two other things that slightly rubbed me the wrong way about the Republican “message” this morning is that a mass mailing from the RNC contains advertising to “Buy from the GOP Store” (tacky) and, worse, there is a prominent link for “GOP Women” to click on while there is no link for “GOP Men”.

The Republicans, you can be sure, have zero interest in reducing child support atrocities or in otherwise helping men get various natural law rights back.

    That is a good observation.

Still, individual personality display is a more reliable method of measurement than the other, for it depends mainly upon one human, and not innumerable others to render a judgment. Simpler is best, ala` Occam.

For instance, Uday Hussein was treated as alpha, yet he appeared not to be alpha. He was treated as such on account of his father, Saddam. This would be a false display, as people often flatter the unworthy – as any witness to an insufferable boss’s son can attest.

Right, or wrong. It’s the effect we are after – not the cause.

“Regarding Wikileaks, up until today I wanted the owner of that site shot down by the CIA…”

Why? Why are you so interested in having the gov’t and mainstream media shield you from knowing what is being done with your tax dollars?

The truth is that if we had a truly free and adversarial press, then Wikileaks wouldn’t need to exist. Instead we have servile, power-worshipping stenographers who didn’t do their jobs when it was most desperately needed. When we needed the truth behind the lies being proffered to sell the Iraq war, torture, detention without judicial review, etc. the mainstream press gave us nothing but endless cheerleading and flag-waving. If those assholes had done their jobs and had gotten the real story and/or made it safe for people to come forward with the truth then Julian Assange would’ve just been another sexless, pale geek wanking off to internet porn in his mom’s basement.

Instead he is fucking hero—a god amidst a sea of spineless media insects. He is making it very difficult for some of the most powerful factions in the world to operate with impunity by depriving them of the secrecy they abused to precipitate the slaughter of many tens of thousands of innocents. He is the seminal anti-authoritarian figure of my young lifetime. Frankly, there aren’t enough medals in existence to pin on this man.

  74. Youtube some clips of Putin giving speeches in English, which he started learning and practicing within the past few years so he can better evangelize in the West. His English is halting and he makes a few errors, but on the whole it’s pretty goddamn good. Imagine 0bama or Bush learning Russian and being able to speak publicly.

Didn’t see him do CNN in English the other night though, probably doesn’t do as well when not scripted. See him speak with no prepared remarks vs. with a printed copy of the speech, obvious difference and dude obviously didn’t want to come off as halting on U.S. TV.

  75. “Julian Assange (Wikileaks founder and spokesman) – Alpha or Beta?”

Look at this hot girl, one of the two he supposedly sexually assaulted:

I bet he can score with plenty of ‘idealistic’ chicks.

Sleeping with the most famous international fugitive of the day?

But I also bet the Police doesn’t have too many ugly women infiltrators.

tough to say. He’s got big balls to do what he does but is he picky with women?
